Pandemic....
These were some words which we have been hearing from start of the year 2020.
Covid-19* the nobel corona virus hit the world so bad that the world shook
like never before,world went deep into trench of uncertainty not knowing what
to do and where to have faith -which would give assistance in such difficult
times. Almost all government authorities could not handle the outburst of this
global pandemic.
After this huge Covid-19 which
comes from sars family hit the wuhan city in china in month of August 2019
more than million have been infected till 6th april 2020 and 73000 deaths and
of now it has multiplied by several times and reached 7.5 million infected
till 10 june 2020.
Lockdown stress and related issues
As soon as this outburst started in wuhan we are all bombarded with all kind
of news on social media ,intermnet and all sources about how this corona virus
pandemic is creating deaths and infection on large scale. While scientist race
to find the vaccine we are struggling to keep our head above water.
Every where we are seeing issues which causes mental and emotional
exhaustion of the person watching the breath taking amount of infected people
and deaths on media platforms
And all over there is a source of panic
Even your idiot box is showing the ads of Hand sanitizer what would any one do
in these kind of situations ?
Where as Anxiety is the serious problem in whole world nowadays, and people
who already suffer from anxiety issues this buzz is adding insult to
their health condition.
After all invisible things do more blunder than visible things in these kind
of situation.
Thinks you could do to cope up with issues we get in lock down
1. See your own personal risk for contracting covid -19
Restrict to your environment and be as possible in your nexus/home. Make sure
you wash your hands ,sanitize yourself whenever you feel you are exposed to
environment out of your nexus. Do not make yourself feel bored be in some kind
of work as it will make you feel connected , you can watch movies and series
,do some productive things etc.
2. Try to limit your news on covid -19
It is good to be informed to daily news updates but all the time getting
hammered with same kind of negative things make your mind unstable and nervous
,instead watch productive news and engage into a positive atmosphere do not
isolate yourself unless you have been quarantined for the reason. Regular
hearing and watching same news that of a threatening kind will make a pattern
in your mind and then is will be very difficult to some of them to change the
newly developed pattern. You can restrict yourself to limited news channels
and articles like if in us New York times,Washington post

3. Realise that it is ok to be worried about covid-19
Tell yourself that it is ok to be worried, you are not alone in this
situation. Relax take deep breaths and say "all is well" ... it
might help to some engineers if so. Just yelling the governing bodies and
complaining about disparities will not help, we should think proactively and
participate in camps held in near by localities to be a helping hand for the
needed.
Post traumatic stress disorder (ptsd )
This is not just a kind of war veteran seen like we often heard in movies its
a serious issue which as a society we should address. In situation like this
when we are in sort of condition that we cannot be outside and could not be
in happening environment most people who had gone through this state
of illness/condition may experience the same.
